After some dark chapters in their fantasy tale, where prominent names signed with the company next door, drug test failed, and even the company were sold to a new owner, it looks like the UFC is getting back on track. First, their lucky and “Notorious” charm Conor Mc.Gregor will be facing Eddie Alvarez for the Lightweight title at UFC 205.

This one promises to be a great event not only because if Mc.Gregor wins he will become the first UFC fighter to simultaneously hold to titles in two different weight divisions, but also because the UFC 205 will be held for the first time in history, in the Madison Square Garden, New York, since the state recently became the last one to legalize mixed martial arts. The Alvarez-Mc.Gregor tale will be written next November 12th.

CageTo close the final chapter of the year, the UFC has the perfect fairy tale ending, as their muse Ronda Rousey will be stepping into the Octagon again, after a year-long absence. Rousey will face the current belt holder Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. UFC boss, Dana White made the announcement, so the rumor of the Cyborg-Rousey fight will have to wait until next year to strengthen up again.

Former champ Ronda “Rowdy” Rousey, 29, has not been seen in the Octagon since being shockingly knocked out by Holly Holm’s the left foot in last November, at UFC 193. After Rousey’s monumental upset, the bantamweight division has been in flux since. Holm lost her first title defense in March to Miesha Tate, who subsequently lost the crown to Nunes in July. In contrast, Rousey defended the belt six straight times from 2013 to 2015.

A Glimpse To The Fight

In the recent days, several publications have shown the Brazilian Amanda Nunes, excited and ready for the fight. In fact, she believes she will prove the bookies wrong. Even though Ronda hasn’t fo in about a year, she is the odds favorite. Nonetheless, this doesn’t seem to worry the “Lioness” Amanda Nunes, as she ensures that Ronda won’t be able to handle her punches.

We can’t deny how talented Rousey is, but she clearly showed her standing weaknesses against Holm, and even if she can take Nunez down, we need to keep in mind that the current champion is a jiu-jitsu black belt, with a Judo background. So, there is no doubt that this is going to be a great fight.

So far, the opening lines for the Nunez-Rousey fight are unstable, so, it will be pretty interesting to follow them in order to catch as much money as possible.UFC 1
